No sh*t... Ya think? Especially since none were ever completed. For that matter, neither would the Fletcher Class Destroyers, the Essex Class Carriers and/or the Baltimore Class Cruisers... Same with the Kon Tiki and SS Minnow. Are all of these Chief Editors and publications that starved for content that they actually solicit shallow, filler pieces like this or are they secretly in cahoots with each other to see which publication can continously and continually waste all of its readers' time by publishing the most "captain obvious" and / or sophmoric / neophytic piece of drivel? This historical fiction-esque article has the intellectual depth of badly translated Chinese VCR instructions and the martial relevancy of a Hand Turkey holding a pointed stick or Pack 10s Rain-Gutter Regatta secret hull design. Next up: Laura Ingalls Wilder would be no match against Mike Tyson's right hook / uppercut.

However — in many cases — it is the Military Top Brass — and “Babus in Uniform” — sitting in New Delhi — who are responsible for decisions that put Military Personnel and Veterans at a disadvantage vis-à-vis their civilian counterparts. Given below is one example. Navy not implement AVSC Cadre Review (2004) on par with Army and Air Force. Surely — Civilian Bureaucrats are not responsible for this specious decision by Navy Top Brass in 2004 Also — 20 years have passed — but no effort is being made to correct this wrong decision and give justice to the affected Navy Veterans who are getting less pension than their Army and Air Force counterparts for no fault of theirs. What can schools do? A lot! Under positive duty legislative requirements organisations are required to take action that helps to prevent harassment, abuse or violence for staff. Could it be argued that there is by extension an obligation for schools to take preventative action in a similar way for students? Schools may argue they don’t have to so they won’t, but is this ethical? Does this demonstrate care? If schools can play a part in preventing violence & harm, but choose not to, could this be considered vicarious liability? And with one of the recognised contributing factors of gender based violence being gender equality, how should we feel about schools who do not prioritise #genderequality, or those which in some instances, work actively against equality even when they are presented with an opportunity to be more equitable, but refuse? I think it was renowned expert Jackson Katz, Ph.D. That recently said that “if you’re not actively part of the solution, then you are part of the problem.” If schools are enforcing rigid gender stereotypes or inequity through their policies & practices, could this be suggestive evidence that they are part of the problem? An important and salient reminder by Oliver Steward in the post-Brexit world, of how important this 1976 conflict was to what is now considered the standard exclusive economic zone of 200 nautical miles beyond a nation's territorial sea, within which a coastal nation has jurisdiction over both living and nonliving resources. Although international law since 1982 under UNCLOS, interesting that China has ratified it but in 2024 the USA still has not.
