Tomorrow is my 2-year anniversary at Proofpoint! How bittersweet and cosmic that I arrived here by leaving a much smaller competitor (not by my choosing 🙄). But the upside has been: (1) access to an unbelievably large and valuable cybersecurity dataset, (2) continuous learning thanks to incredibly smart and skilled teammates, and (3) working with state-of-the-art technology, literally at my fingertips, to solve key ML challenges at scale. It honestly surprises me that we've been doing this for almost 2 years -- that Proofpoint continues to encourage, finance, and fight for DEI despite other companies pulling back -- and that even though we have much more to do, we've managed to accomplish a lot.
