Designers and design researchers are often surprisingly bad at sharing their work. This is because they tend to tell the linear story of their work. First I did this, then I did this. While the person delivering the project cares deeply about the process, the audience generally don't feel the same way. As such designers and researchers regularly lose their audience and bury the lede. If you're a designer or design reacherer looking to switch from telling a story to crafting a narrative, I've got two resources for you. The first is a wonderful book by Ben Sauer called Death by Screens. The second is a great looking masterclass from Jan Chipchase. Links to both in the comments.
