EgeTrans Internationale Spedition GmbH’s Post

How do you get young people excited about logistics? 🌍️ We deal with this question every day at EgeTrans. We are convinced that the only way to get young people interested in logistics is to use practical examples to show them that our lives would not be the same without global trade. But how do we reach young people? One way is through educational partnerships. In mid-June, we were able to make our long-standing cooperation with Friedrich Schiller Gymnasium (FSG) in Marbach official and are now an educational partner of the largest secondary school in Baden-Württemberg. Of course, a partnership needs to be filled with life. Two days after signing the partnership agreement, we gave some FSG students an insight into the world of work at our Marbach headquarters as part of a company tour. After a joint breakfast, a company presentation was on the agenda. During a logistics simulation game, the students were able to get to know the versatility of a supply chain. A tour of the building on the banks of the Neckar also provided an insight into the day-to-day work of a logistics service provider. Further measures are already being planned. We look forward to intensifying our cooperation in the future in order to inspire as many young people as possible. #weconnect #wemove #wecare
