The European Championship in Handball 2024 is well underway, and while the results haven't been ideal, it's not over yet. Iceland has at least two more games to go, and we're determined to win them both, starting with tomorrow's match against Croatia 🇭🇷, followed by Wednesday's against Austria 🇦🇹. I'm confident that we can do it. Many have asked why we're sponsoring the Icelandic handball team. There are a few reasons. Firstly, the European Championship is taking place in Germany 🇩🇪 , where our headquarters are located and later this year the women team will hopefully qualify for EM in Austria 🇦🇹 . Secondly, we have a strong connection to handball and believe it's a great opportunity to increase our brand visibility in both markets. Despite managing some of the largest websites in Iceland and Germany, we've been relatively unknown until now and this is a great opportunity to start promoting our company to a larger audience. David Szlezak stays Managing Director of EHF Marketing   The European Handball Federation has extended the contract with David Szlezak, Managing Director of EHF Marketing , for another four years until 30 June 2028. Since taking on the role in 2016, Szlezak has played a key role in enhancing the appeal of European club handball competitions. Initially responsible for 12 employees, the number has since doubled and he now leads a team of 25 people that works on the exploitation of the rights of the club competitions.
