This program enables Product Strategy leaders and Product Managers to think like the CEO of a product or service - focusing on a cradle-to-grave approach for managing and optimizing the life of a product or service. It starts with frameworks such as Jobs to be done to find product opportunities, create opportunity hypothesis, create discovery hypothesis and product discovery, quick prototyping for validating the hypothesis. Applying Agile frameworks for product development, taking product to market, business model taxonomy and select the right business model for your product. Managing the partner ecosystem, creating the whole package and last but not the least managing product evolution and growth. Survivorship Bias: A Crucial Consideration for Product Managers Survivorship Bias is a phenomenon that subtly influences decision-making in product management, often leading us to focus solely on success stories while overlooking valuable lessons from failures. As seasoned professionals, it's vital for us to recognize and address this cognitive bias to drive effective strategies and sustainable growth. Drawing inspiration from historical examples, such as Abraham Wald's pivotal insights during World War II, we understand the profound impact of challenging conventional wisdom. Wald's approach, prioritizing the analysis of failed instances over the apparent successes, underscores the importance of adopting a holistic perspective in our decision-making processes. In today's fast-paced digital landscape, Survivorship Bias manifests in various scenarios, particularly in the deployment of innovative technologies like AIoT. Following a successful pilot project, there's a temptation to scale up rapidly without considering the unique challenges that may arise in broader implementations. As product managers, we must transcend this bias and embrace failure as a source of invaluable insights. Instead of solely celebrating successes, we should diligently examine the root causes of failures, enabling us to iterate and improve our strategies for long-term success. In the realm of eCommerce, the discrepancy between pilot phase results and broader market reception highlights the complexity of Survivorship Bias. While initial user satisfaction is encouraging, it's crucial to delve deeper into why certain features or products may not resonate with a wider audience.
