They influence how we think of possibilities of equity in organizations and help us see clear gaps in current diversity management research. Growing up, Maa was the cornerstone of our family. Her wisdom and strength guided us through every twist and turn, teaching me invaluable lessons along the way. In the bustling bazaars, she navigated with skill and finesse, always finding ways to make our budget stretch further. Her ability to negotiate and adapt taught me that leadership isn't just about having all the answers – it's about being resourceful, adaptable, and finding creative solutions to challenges. Celebration Central 🎉 Our home is a haven of joy and celebration, thanks to Maa's warm spirit and boundless love. Whether it is birthdays, festivals, or simple gatherings, she has a knack for bringing people together and creating cherished memories. Through her example, I've learned that true leadership is about fostering a sense of belonging and creating an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and appreciated. As a (somewhat) younger leader, I think it's critical to teach America's youth effective leadership techniques. This generation will eventually make up the majority of the labor force and be the ones that our society looks to for leadership. The influence that Generation Z will have on our economy cannot be understated. Younger employees will be the first to adjust to leadership and workplace changes, giving them a competitive advantage. #Leadership #GenZ #LeadershipDevelopment

Dallas College is launching a Women in Restaurants Leadership program in Spring 2024! Minorities in the restaurant industry are hitting a glass ceiling. I'm so proud to see minority culinarians and restauranteurs in Dallas pushing toward cultural change. A rising tide lifts all boats. If you have a few minutes check out this article from Eater Dallas to learn more about the program! In the Restaurant Industry, 63% of entry-level and 69 % of mid-level roles are held by women.
