⚾️Baseball + Legacy To honor his father, former baseball Commissioner Vincent is endowing the Yale baseball coach’s salary. His father was a captain of the baseball and football team at Yale while he himself was a graduate of Yale Law School. "I wanted to do something that would mean something to him and tie him to Yale baseball, which he loved…I think his prominence at Yale had something to do with my being so very interested in sports," Vincent said. One of the greatest aspects of my job is getting to help clients craft how they want their life to impact generations to come because no two legacies are alike. This article reflects a great example of what leaving a legacy can look like. Leaving a legacy is not merely defined by leaving behind an estate. It is an intentional, purpose-driven process usually defined by creating a lasting and significant impact on the world that reflects accomplishments, values, and influence. One of the great shifts in consciousness I have had with so Many leaders and performers is to get them to face the fact that much of their identity IS in what they do, and that’s absolutely correct. It’s tools in acceptance that are required and NOT denial. There’s a ‘ mental health ‘ movement seeking to take away such a brutal place to live but to do that is to deny truth The business owners are winners. Hell bent on success and it’s part of WHO they are: ‘ the winner’ Head coaches. There’s a price, you will be incredibly lonely and you WILL suffer greatly. Passion means suffering. In the acceptance of WHO you are you know you will have mental health issues every day but you have tools to navigate such the burden of WHO you are.

💡 WIN OR LEARN 💎 This story highlights one way Rickson Gracie was raised to be the best in his sport in the world. 🤔 WHY IT MATTERS: When I coached youth baseball, I tried to arrange games in threes. We would play a team better than us, to learn where we had to go (we usually lost). Then we would play a team we were ahead of, to see how far we had come (we always won). Then we played a team at our level where the outcome was uncertain (we won some, we lost some).
