Does size really matter? Absolutely. And iI will tell you the reason. This week we received a request for a quote to replace a very old Tideland Signal lantern that was working perfectly, but the customer decided to replace it with the same one, but new. The problem was that because this lantern was very (very) old, our continuous quest to improve our devices for customers, and the lack of information from the client, we did not know if our replacement could meet the customer's need and be placed where he wanted it. Basically, we didn't know if the size of the lantern was larger or smaller than what our client needed. Because we did not have information about where he wanted to install it. Furthermore, we did not have more information about whether the client had made any connectivity changes in recent years. Hence the importance of size and communication between clients and/or resellers with manufacturers, as a way to ensure that the requirement or the device that will be provided will satisfy the client's need. When we ask for it, it is not to make the purchasing process difficult, on the contrary, it is because we want a smooth delivery process and, above all, customer satisfaction. If you want to purchase AtoN devices that will last for many years, providing you with high reliability and availability rates, contact us, as well as if you want to replace your old lanterns with new ones with technological upgrades.
