The cost of living, particularly that of housing, has skyrocketed in the last few years. In our capitalist society, the industry pros will tell you that it’s simply because the market price of everything has gone up —labour, materials, permits, etc. But I wonder how much of it is due to the lack of creativity from the industry (construction, development firms, and property management) and gov (regulators, all three levels of government)? 🤔 It seems that every new building going up has the same configuration, the same offerings, and worst of all, the same high prices. 📈 Our team at Elev haven’t just been wondering —we’ve been working to address this very challenge.
