Through your career, you are going to be in alot of workplaces where moral goes through seasons of being way up, to way down. It's going to be tempting to blame your leaders, jump on the complaining wagon, leave, or just be frustrated every day.
Here's what I've learned through my career journey: If you lead, talk to your teams about your vision. I tell my teams regularly this truth: We are going to continue to influence every area we touch for the better. We're going to lift those up around us. We're going to be who we are, and be constant, we are good human beings who care for one another and do their job with integrity and honor. In the end, even if the company fails, you did your part and grew in the process which will lead you to your next opportunity.
Lead with that example and your team will begin to be a tide that causes all the other boats to rise. That's how you turn the curve of moral back upward, and eventually turn a company around.
