It was an honor to be invited to Columbia University for this important conversation. We could not agree more that 'Complementary and alternative medicine could become a compelling "front door" to the healthcare sector if payers and providers can find ways to partner.' #womenshealth #femtech #chinesemedicine

We enjoyed the opportunity to speak at Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health's Conference on Friday to discuss complementary and alternative medicine. Amanda Eilian had a rich conversation with Lulu Ge and Carol Huffman about the future of this space. The basic philosophy of complementary and alternative medicine is holistic care—a focus on treating whole person health—which is at the center of our work at Able Partners. As patient engagement with the traditional healthcare system declines, the broader healthcare ecosystem—payers and providers—will be looking for compelling ways to improve engagement. ⅓ of Americans do not currently have a primary care provider. Complementary and alternative medicine could become a compelling "front door" to the healthcare sector if payers and providers can find ways to partner.
