The Port Authority of NY and NJ is taking an innovative approach to improve the cargo gateway on the East Coast - through the $220 million Port Street Corridor improvement project. This project that encompasses road and ramp upgrades to the main artery in Port Newark will feature an efficient roadway configuration that promotes safe trucking operations, leading to significant time savings and a reduction in carbon emissions.
