Yesterday, Shayne Higdon on The Tie hosted by NYSE: • The world’s largest financial firms are utilizing #DLT. • Wall Street is exposed to Hedera through on-chain #RWAs. • Hedera stablecoins are being adopted by leading banks. • Our tokenization strategy is coming to fruition So, let's take a dive into Shayne's presentation. RWA Tokenization Recently, Archax, the FCA-licensed digital asset exchange whose largest external shareholder is Hedera Governing Council member abrdn, integrated #Hedera into its tokenization engine. As part of this initial integration, abrdn tokenized part of its flagship Aberdeen Standard Liquidity Fund (Lux) – Sterling Fund, Abrdn’s flagship £multi-billion money market fund on the Hedera network. This enables higher liquidity, fractionalised assets, greater price discovery, and lower costs. But that’s not all. Stablecoin Studio The Stablecoin Studio was launched to meet the demand from banks on the #Hedera Governing Council and beyond, enabling the simple issuance and management of highly programmable and scalable #stablecoins. Through a recent Stablecoin Studio pilot between Shinhan Bank and Taiwan's largest financial institution, we showcased that stablecoins on the Hedera network enabled remittances that were orders of magnitude more efficient than legacy systems while facilitating real-time FX settlement. Now, one of the biggest challenges facing the stablecoin market from an institutional perspective is the lack of transparency into stablecoin reserves. But what if the world's largest enterprise payment solutions processor could help facilitate transparency into leading stablecoins reserves via #Hedera? Proof of Reserves (PoR) Que Worldpay from FIS who recently announced its PoR solution. Through this, Hedera ensure full transparency for up to 100% of settlement money movements for stablecoin issuers like Circle, available in near-real-time across fiat and crypto portions. Micropayments Alongside RWAs moving on-chain, one of the paradigm shifts in financial transactions being enabled by #tokenization on Hedera is #micropayments. Dropp enables highly cost-efficient and instant small-value payments in #HBAR, USD, and USDC. For this work, they were recently showcased by the Federal Reserve's FedNow. This is the right approach … but it takes time - despite blockchain / crypto being touted as trustless , permissionless and decentralized - it takes time to gain trust by entities that deal with billions/ trillions worth of assets . As public chains mature and proove that they can handle pressure , outages and other challenges , enterprise adoption will grow . The saying usually goes that you do not want to be head on first , but actually a smart follower that is observing first and knows where to dive in head first

Following on our proof of concept announcement around the Tokenization of Private Markets utilizing smart contracts this morning, I've gotten a lot of questions on smart contracts and how they were used in this POC.
