Placing top creatives into international companies

Misconceptions about living in the UAE 🇦🇪 Just here to clear up the persistent myths I hear as a recruiter, living in Dubai 🌍 Alcohol 👉 Yes, you can enjoy a drink here. Bars, pubs (lots of Irish ones!), clubs and brunches. We have it all. Just remember to respect local laws and you won’t land yourself in trouble… boozy brits I’m talking to you! Dress code 👉 Modesty is appreciated, but there are no rules to tell you what to wear. Just be respectful of your environment; malls, mosques and the holy month! Relationships 👉 No, you won’t get arrested for holding hands 🤣 Last but not least. 👉 SAFETY 👈 As a woman in her 20’s who feared getting into a taxi in the UK and would have to call someone for the duration of the journey. I can honestly say, I have never felt more safe as a woman living in the UAE. Only here do I feel safe enough to walk around at ANY time of the day, by myself. I don’t have to hold onto my possessions fearing someone will snatch them… saying this I don’t know many people who actually lock their car😆 So, I hope that’s cleared the air for anyone looking to relocate to the desert 🐪 Is there more misconceptions that I’ve missed off?

Moving to Dubai does not automatically make you rich, there is hard work, dedication, patience and consistency involved whatever carrier someone chooses to follow 😊

If you forget any belonging, like a wallet… yess a wallet with money… in public places, you come back and recuperate it intact. (Or maybe find more money in it… lol joking)

Safety is actually still a privilege for the privileged, and still. There's also nasty cases in Dubai. Is more about social Bubbles, rather than misconceptions :)

Misconception is everything in dubai is fancy and glamourous. However in reality its fake and reality is totally different. Have a look at this photo which they never show on social media This is a prime metro station in dubai during weekdays morning time🤭🙃.
