Celebrating Pride is more than just a month on the calendar, it's a movement that represents the courage it takes to live openly and authentically, and it's a call to action for equality and acceptance for all. #PrideMonth is a time to honor the history and achievements, and recognize the ongoing struggles of the LGBTQIA+ community. From the Stonewall Riots to today, the journey towards equality has been driven by fearless individuals who dared to stand up for their rights and the rights of others. We pay tribute to their bravery and resilience, and we pledge to continue their work by fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for all of our Porters. At Ellis Porter, we believe that diversity is our strength. Our commitment to inclusivity means ensuring that every voice is heard and valued. We are dedicated to creating a workplace where people can bring their whole selves to work, where diversity of thought and identity is celebrated, and where discrimination is nowhere to be found. During Pride Month, we'll be hosting a virtual learning opportunity for our Porters, exploring the history of Pride, and understanding the differences within the LGBTQIA+ experience globally. We aim to provide opportunities for learning and growth, and we'll encourage all of our Porters to participate, share their stories, and support one another. We are committed to sustaining our efforts year-round. This means advocating for inclusive policies, supporting LGBTQIA+ organizations, and continually striving to improve our practices and culture. Advocate for inclusive policies, support LGBTQIA+ organizations, and participate in efforts to combat discrimination and inequality faced by LGBTQIA+ individuals.
