SUN STROKE The summer heat is becoming hot, hotter and hottest day after day. To avoid sunstroke, drink lots of liquids and maintain the body at a normal temperature during outdoor activities. Stay clear of alcohol and caffeine because they can cause dehydration. Wear light-coloured and loose-fitted clothing and take breaks often to get a drink and keep the body water level. Give the same care to your car as well. Leaving your car in extreme heat and sunlight can adversely affect its condition in the long term. The UV rays from the sun could end up damaging both the interior and the exterior of your car. The paint could dry and start patching up. Cracks could start showing up on your dashboard and leather seats. * Park in a shaded area * Wash the car regularly * Use windshield covering/sun blinds * Protect leather seats with seat covers * Wax the exterior. It reduces overheating * Leave the windows slightly opened for air circulation

Tips to managing this heat period. 1. Use air conditioner when indoor. 2. Use your rechargeable or electric fan or handfan when indoor or outdoor. 3. Wear light or loose clothes. Except you work in an environment where the air conditioner is on throughout your period of stay at the office, you can wear a suit or jacket. If not please wear only shirt. 4. Avoid turtle neck or thick clothes this period. 5. When you are outside in the sun, use a handkerchief or scarf to cover your head to avoid direct sunlight in your head. 6. Use a shade of umbrella when going out in the hottest part of the day. 7. Avoid tucking in for too long as a female to avoid internal heat from your stomach that can cause vomits.

As summer gives way to autumn, it's time to prep our homes for the cooler days ahead. ☀️🍂 Before we bid adieu to those sunny moments, let's indulge in a little outdoor TLC by power washing our homes. 💦✨ Safety first: Gear up with protective goggles and hearing protection. Check your home for damage, fix it up, and then get your power washer ready. Choose the right equipment, nozzle, and a specialized house washing detergent. Cleaning is an art. Start at the top and work down with even, overlapping strokes. Be careful around windows and doors, and cover them if needed. Rinse thoroughly to unveil a sparkling, refreshed home. Remember to dispose of wastewater responsibly according to local regulations. After the job is done, maintain and store your power washer properly to keep it ready for future home refreshes.
