🌟 Last night marked the beginning of something special: The Wine Lovin’ Coven, a unique gathering of minds and spirits. Are you ready to join us next time? I had the pleasure of spending an enriching evening with Natalie MacLean and Andrea Tomkins at Gezellig in Ottawa. Our discussions spanned a range of topics from the art of winemaking to the importance of women supporting each other in professional and creative endeavours. We also delved into the impact of digital connectivity on our lives and careers. This experience underscored the invaluable nature of face-to-face interactions in an increasingly digital world. Reflecting on a recent event with Catalyst Inc. for #catalysthonours in Toronto, I was again reminded of the power and energy that comes from in-person networking and collaboration. Surrounded by innovative and passionate professionals, it was a vivid demonstration of how real-world connections can inspire and drive change. In an era where online interactions often dominate, and the digital landscape can be challenging, the importance of genuine, in-person connections has never been more apparent. The pandemic has further highlighted the need for physical community and support. With this in mind, I am committing to a resolution for 2024 ahead of time: To foster more real-life professional connections and collaborations. I believe that stepping away from our screens and engaging directly with peers and industry leaders can lead to healthier, more productive professional environments and personal well-being.
