A fond farewell to Swoon.. Last week I made the difficult decision to say goodbye to my beloved colleagues, candidates and clients at Swoon. Working with Swoon the past 3.5 years has been the greatest experience in my professional career. I will forever be grateful to every leader who believed in me and taught me what I know, every client who took a chance on me to support their hiring needs, every candidate who worked with me with honesty and transparency, and most of all, I want to express my sincere appreciation to my amazing teammates and colleagues at Swoon. You've made coming to work a daily joy, fostering a truly inspiring and supportive environment. I'll miss our collaborations and camaraderie dearly, and I wish you all continued success and fulfillment in your careers. What's next for me? That will be announced soon. For now, I want to thank Swoon for an incredible career. The journey we had together is one I will cherish forever. Thank you for providing me the opportunity to realize my true potential as a trusted recruitment professional. To Team Canada.. you are SO special. Yesterday, I had the privilege of meeting with some of my clients in person for coffee's, lunch, and a stroll through the city. Meeting with those I work with in person left me feeling energized and truly connected. With the virtual world becoming more and more advanced by the day, sometimes we need a little reminder to get outside for a walk with a coworker, plan a coffee or lunch with a client, and to take time to truly get to know the people in our professional lives away from our screens. As summer is coming to an end, I am reflecting and feeling grateful for having the opportunity to spend quality time with the people I love. Excited to share that I'll be representing Swoon alongside my leader, Dan Klimas at WBE Canada's Annual Conference this November 8-9th for the second year in a row! This conference is one of the best for connecting diversity-certified vendors with WBE sponsors- large organizations looking to increase their spend with diverse suppliers.
