🚨 The day has arrived! 🚨 After two and a half years of work on the development of the ISO Net Zero Guidelines for COP27, building case studies of use for COP28, today at #LondonClimateActionWeek we are announcing that an international process has officially kicked off to convert the ISO Net Zero Guidelines into the first independently verifiable international standard on net zero. Experts from across ISO - International Organization for Standardization’s 170+ member countries are convening as we speak in the first international working group on net zero to develop this standard together. The road to #COP30 begins! If you want to get involved in the process, find your country’s national standards body and further information here: https://lnkd.in/e2bNnp5H BSI BSI Sustainability ISO - International Organization for Standardization ISO Environmental Management Noelia Garcia Nebra

Launching today at London Climate Action Week, BSI is convening an international process designed to bring clarity and credibility to net zero transition, creating the first verifiable international standard on net zero. Involving collaboration between thousands of experts through national standards bodies across more than 170 countries, the standard due to be launched at COP30 in November 2025, will be designed to provide one common global solution to guide organizations as they embark on the net zero transition.
