To start the week with some self-compassion and self-encouragement, try doing this exercise: ✅ Think of some positive messages you want to hear this week ✅ If it feels difficult to think of what you’d say to yourself, imagine what you’d say to encourage a friend or someone you know who’s finding things difficult ✅ Write down each of these positive statements/messages/words of encouragement on separate pieces of paper, or on a notes app on your phone ✅ Throughout the week, particularly at moments when your inner critic is loud or you’re feeling overwhelmed, read one of those pieces of paper or look at the notes on your phone ✅ Repeat the message back to yourself to help put self-doubt and self-criticism back in its place, and grow your self-compassion. #SelfDoubt #SelfCriticism #SelfCompassion #SelfWorth #MentalHealth 📷 IG: jennamariejournals
