Friday reflections on a truly insightful, inspiring week all themed around the stories we tell and the journey we are on 🌈 young people are awesome and we have so much to learn from them. Spending time with the amazing pupils from Crown Hills Community College getting underneath exactly what their movement why is through the school offer, reflecting on their journey so far and what it means for their ongoing relationship with being active. My favourite quote from the day ‘’well it’s just nostalgic isn’t it, playing, moving, it’s all fun!’’ Cannot wait to see the video. 🌈 athlete role models are just as human as you or me. Yes their speed, strength and power can acheive medals but they’ve still had their own journeys, their own defining moments in their relationship with their sport and their life as a whole. The lows and changes on the path are often equal to or even more defining to their character and who they are as athletes. 🌈 the unwavering commitment of teachers, school leaders and the sport and community sector is truly inspiring. Always adapting, flexing and growing to be the best version of themselves for our young people. Everyday they ensure positive movement experiences for thousands of young people (and adults) and are the superheroes of our society. What are the stories you have told or written this week? #physicalliteracy #themovementstorieswetell #relationshipwithmovement #reflectonthejourney #education #PESSPA #play
