We're so proud to see lifelong public educator and e2L's own Chief Impact Officer, Dr. Michael Hinojosa, among the Carnegie Corporation of New York's 2024 Class of #GreatImmigrants! https://bit.ly/3xC2OgC

Congratulations! He's one of the leaders I looked up to in my career. When I first joined DISD in 2006 he greeted me shaking my hand and handed me a business card with data on the value of bilingual education. His focus to hiring bilingual teachers caused a ripple effect in the lives of many teachers like myself, our students and families (I was able to become a resident from this path). Never underestimate the impact one leader can make. Mr. Hinojosa is a living testimony of this and for his efforts I will be eternally grateful. Si se pudo jefe! 😎
