In Scotland, the first wind turbines of the Moray West Offshore Wind Farm in Moray Firth, northern Scotland, have generated electricity.
The 882MW wind farm is nearing the end of the construction phase and will become fully operational in 2025.

Our three floaters and turbines proved once again the strength of their world-class engineering, the power of floating technology, and its readiness to be applied at a commercial scale level in all geographies.

Also worth mentioning that, comparing to newer wind farms with larger turbines, the O&M schedule at older sites can be busier, and with leaner budget and profit margin.
Miros' real-time sea-state monitoring services have been helping Horns Rev 1 making best O&M decisions daily since 2019.

Since then a lot has happened and today offshore wind is a strong force in enabling fossil freedom - not least since Horns Rev 1 paved the way as a showcase for offshore wind.
