The think tank’s stance furthers the aims of Texas Republican Gov. Greg Abbott and a growing chorus of right-wing activists eager to reopen yet another polarizing front in American political discourse, this time to block some children from U.S. public schools. Good article but I disagree the ending of this article where it says ‘ We would need to withdraw from the European Convention on Human Rights, which has done so much to weaken national citizenship’ this is ludicrous statement to make. If the author of this article knew what European Convention on Human Rights has done for UK people, he would rethink. I understand when I see/hear courts and people of authority disliking/complaining about European Convention on Human Rights because they don’t like to be challenged and since UK is a member of the European Convention on Human Rights which has been implemented it domestic law thus gives effect through the Human Rights Act 1998. I have yet not understood why anyone who isn’t in authority position support withdrawing European Convention on Human Rights from UK domestic law!
