AlfaStar Capital, EuVECA invested in the previous round in October'22. This significant progress is proving the Fund's investment thesis, focused on innovative solutions seeking to enable more sustainable industry and life. 🌱🌍   44.01 is pioneering in the field of CO2 mineralization. By accelerating the natural process of turning CO2 into rock, company offers a permanent and safe solution for carbon removal. With successful pilot projects in Oman and the UAE, and recent funding to support international expansion, 44.01 is poised to make a substantial impact on global #carbon reduction efforts. 💥 Big congratulations to the parties 💥 Dottir advised a consortium led by CapMan Growth in their investment in Tana Oy, a Finnish environmental technology company. CapMan made the investment together with Normet Group’s main owner Aaro Cantell and Elo Mutual Pension Insurance Company. Tana specializes in manufacturing machines and equipment for the mechanical processing of solid waste. The company is a pioneer of using electrical control systems and artificial intelligence solutions in its equipment and has grown in recent years to a global market leader in waste pre-treatment equipment. With this investment, Tana aims for even greater growth. CapMan Growth is the leading Finnish growth investor making significant minority investments in entrepreneur-led growth companies. Environmental consultancy to be acquired by KKR investee A strong return should be generated for a Sydney private equity firm through the planned acquisition of environmental consultancy business Energetics by a KKR investee company. Equitrans Sets May 31st Date for MVP Startup; OVCX Online Now https://buff.ly/3Ul4ra0 Equitrans Midstream, builder of the mighty Mountain Valley Pipeline (MVP), issued its first quarter 2024 update yesterday. The update came without the typical conference call for analysts, given the impending merger with (takeover by) EQT Corporation. Picking through the prepared updates and filings with the SEC, we discovered some useful bits of news. First and foremost, Equitrans expects to begin operations on MVP on May 31st, provided all necessary directives are issued by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC). MVP’s cost went up yet again, from $7.6 billion, estimated earlier this year, to now approximately $7.85 billion. However, MVP wasn’t the only big news coming from the update.
