When I watch players at the highest level I love seeing how they work towards mastery. This is a great example of Jabari Smith Jr. working on using his dribble into his shot. What gets my attention is his footwork. The slight movement into that flows right into the release. This gets my imagination going with ideas to help others improve. 7 wonderful tips for a successful 2024 - however you define it

My thoughts for 2024: fight for what’s worth fighting for. Set intentional goals, and don’t be afraid to “recalibrate” as you receive additional information. Be specific and know the target you’re aiming for. Know it well.

One of the most valuable traits that we can possess is "figureoutability". It refers to the ability to solve problems, overcome obstacles, and find solutions to challenges that we face. This trait is especially important in today's fast-paced and constantly changing world, where we are often required to adapt quickly to new situations and circumstances. Unfortunately, finding someone who is willing and able to help us develop this trait can be rare. However, I have been fortunate enough to encounter a few leaders who possess both competence and compassion, and who have helped me to understand where I am, where I want to go, and how to bridge the gap between the two. As a leader myself, I take great satisfaction in returning the favor and helping others to develop their own "figureoutability". It is truly rewarding to see someone grow and succeed as a result of the guidance and support that I have provided. It's easy to tell someone where to go as talk is cheap, but it's much more valuable to show them where they can go and empower them to execute on their own. Creating leaders who are willing and able to multiply their own execution is the pinnacle of leadership, as the power of compounding is priceless.

Some great advice here! Slide six got me thinking about one of my personal mantras: 'be brave enough to suck at something new.' Sometimes it's scary to step out of our comfort zone, but it's important to remember that growth comes from taking risks and trying new things.🌱 #PersonalGrowth #NewChallenges #Motivation
