People who realised there was a better way to run their businesses and who are committed to doing business better. I wholeheartedly believe that together we can, and will, create a safe world for our children, grandchildren and generations to come. This is where B Corp comes in. What's 'Our Way Forward?' As we reach the last week of B Corp Awareness Month we focus on our own 'way forward'. This year's theme really resonates with us. One of the most significant reasons we're a B Corp is that it isn't simply a destination. It's not just a form to fill in, a certificate to gain.  It's an ongoing journey to being a better business, holding us constantly accountable to strive for more impact. So, what is 'our way forward?' Impact starts at home - we want our team to love working at Good Innovation, so we'll constantly strive to improve their experience of working here and doing work that delivers genuine impact, because we know that's why they work here. Help our clients succeed - we want to help the charities and corporates we work with deliver their ambition for impact - on steroids! Sharing our methodologies, knowledge and insights is just what we do, but we'll find new ways to do that so they can succeed faster, smarter and with even greater impact. Be a great neighbour - we've always given back to the communities that sustain us, but we could do this better and more consistently. We'll innovate to give back better to the sectors we work in, our local community in Southwark and nature (of which we are just a part!).

In the realm of major gift & capital campaign fundraising -one thing is for certain... Volunteerism is a key to raising significant revenues, accessing advocates to further the cause has no price but has great value. It can't be done with them. I recently said to a Founder of a wonderful organization that nothing happens without a 'champion'. Often this is a passionate volunteer who freely gives of their time, talent, and treasure. But what about us who are 'paid to raise'? Do we need to give of our time as well? Absolutely. I am a better practitioner because of my unpaid involvements in organizations like Rotary International, AFP Global, among others. Today I wish to let you know about an organization that I volunteer with, that is all volunteer run -no paid staff at all. M4M www.Medals4Mettle.org was started by Dr. Steve Isenberg MD almost 20 years ago. Competitive runners like myself award medals to cancer patients, plus others with life-threatening conditions. Both children and adults who are in the throws of cancer are the recipients of medals to encourage them in their own race. to date, an astounding 70,000 medals have been given. Wow. The medals are awarded to individuals who are "running a much more difficult race," often with an unknown finish line. The mission of M4M is to appreciate the pay-it-forward concept that links the distance runner’s mettle with the mettle it takes to battle life challenges. The donor's acknowledgement of the recipient's mettle encourages the recipient and creates a human connection honouring the grit, courage, and bravery they share. #medals4mettle #doitbecause

At The Learning Tree’s Common Ground Gathering we will learn together as we attempt to reframe and reenvision how we perceive our world. We’ll put on lenses of abundance to glimpse the hope and vitality already around us. We’ll ask questions like these: How have cultures of abundance been nurtured and cultivated? How do we create communities where each neighbor’s contributions are seen as promising and additive gifts? How have we developed, and how could we develop, our community’s capacity to envision a different, more vibrant, gracious, and collaborative world? Communities big and small—from a few individuals on city blocks and small nonprofits to colleges, university hospitals, and major foundations—are putting on these lenses, and soon we’ll convene to learn from one another, for we all have much to offer and much to learn. Today is our 6th official foundational anniversary and we want to thank all our supporters, volunteers, sympathizers, collaborators. "Our voices, are heard", our organizational impact currently calculated at about 4.2 million euro per year in positive change for society and our message of neuroinclusion and the value of neurodivergent pride has been influential worldwide. The foundation is an non-profit organization created by & for neurodivergent people, showing the positive powers of neurodiversity, aiming to make the future more ND friendly. We are proud, to be of service, and it makes us excited for more to come. We thank all that support our love and fire. We have 4 departments and 20+ projects, and we are just getting started. As said by the foundation director, in our recent volunteer-event: "We will continue to support those winds of change, fueling the currents of compassion, leaving the ground more fertile for our peoples, than before. We will help all those brains, to keep their hearts in mind. Not because we are told, but because we heard a calling in our own souls, to support all, who are most unlike most others, 'our neurodivergent family', and facilitate those allies who love, employ or support them. A type of idealism based in the platinum rule. Just like we said in 2016 and 2018, when there is nobody else, it will be ourselves we can rely on to lead the way forward, to help make this society more ND friendly, and enable all neurotypes to thrive."
