My 75-month wonderful journey at Godrej Consumer Product Indonesia, ended yesterday. The questions that everybody would've asked probably are : 1. Was I happy working there? Absolutely! 2. Would I recommend it as a place to learn? Without the slightest doubt! Just check the awards and and I can tell you that it is legit. Godrej has been by far one of the best working experience during my entire professional life and I can tell you the top 3 of the "Why"s as my key take outs : 1. RESPECT This is the biggest element that I always uphold and look for in a working place. The way the organization use this in their daily lives is simply remarkable. Honestly, I came to the organization with a lower expectation but it turned out to be quite a high standard example. This one is tough to beat. 2. LEARN, SHARE AND GROW I can tell you that the opportunity to do this, is just immense. There are so much to learn and so many opportunities to share that in the end, you can grow together with the organization. People say that you learn and grow during the toughest times and well, I experienced that. 3. FRIENDSHIP You may not believe that Godrej as an Indian company, is actually more of an Indonesian company. I have been able to have fabulous friendship with so many Indian (as well as Indonesians and other countries) colleagues that resemble Indonesians - polite, soft spoken, super respectful, humble.....and the list goes on and on. I have been blessed because of being surrounded by these friends that in the end I can work with happily and see them TRULY as my family. There's just so many things that Godrej has given to me and hopefully made me a better person both on professional and personal perspective. To anyone who is / was a part of Godrej, collaborated together with me and seeing this post, I can't thank you enough for all the things that you have given me. If you have the opportunity to join the Godrej Consumer Product Indonesia family, I would urge you to do your best to jump on board. Trust me, you will never regret it. Will I miss it? Already.
