Torque Transducers plays a important role in motor testing since Torque and speed testing is an essential process that helps determine the performance, efficiency, and reliability of a motor. We recently dispatched a batch of #datumelectronics FF425 torque sensors to one of our customers for their motor testing needs. The Datum Electronics Series FF425 non contact flange torque sensor have been designed to fit easily inline with any drive train or test rig using standard DIN size couplings. With Flange couplings at either end of the torque transducer, it has many advantages over other torque measurement systems on the market. The Datum Connect features is an added advantage. GM series DC brush servo motors utilize traditional ferrite magnets, which are ideal for cost sensitive applications. In addition, the higher inertia armatures provide improved motor to load inertia matching for medium to high inertia loads. This helps to reduce the mechanical shaft resonance, which allows higher servo gains with increased stability. 2. GMR series DC brush servo motors utilize high-energy Neodymium-Iron-Boron (NdFeB) magnets, which provide more torque in a smaller package with higher dynamic performance than traditional ferrite magnet designs. Due to the high torque to inertia ratio of these motors, they are ideal for applications which require high acceleration and deceleration characteristics or where the physical size of the motor is a major concern.
