No doubt, In all of my Industrial experiences, as an Electrical Technician, stranded wire is mostly used. Why? Generally, stranded wire is preferred for applications requiring higher current because it offers more flexibility and a larger surface area for current to flow. ______ Allowing for better conductivity and heat dissipation. The strands in a stranded wire allow it to withstand bending and movement without breaking, making it suitable for environments with vibrations or frequent flexing.
