He brings ten years of high level insurance claims negotiations, having worked at large insurance carriers and plaintiffs firms. For my fellow plaintiff attorneys, I highly recommend you separate out the function of settlement from your lawyers that are litigating your pi files. Settlement negotiations require a much different tone, mindest and skillset than lawyering. Since we created a seperate position three years ago for settlement negotiations, we have seen better results in our negotiations and litigation. Our attorneys have the skills and can negotiate but by design we prefer to leave the negotiations with Mario and let the lawyers do what the lawyers do. Litigate.
