Germany, with its unique historical context, has a profound responsibility to confront and reject all forms of hate, including anti-Semitism and racism. We have learned from our past, and it's time to demonstrate that through unity and action. Join us on December 10th at 1pm at the Siegessäule in Berlin. 🤯A deputy from the German city of Baden-Baden recently painted cars with Ukrainian license plates using swastikas and the offensive phrase F*ck UA. Following exposure, the deputy has announced their resignation and will also face a fine as a consequence of their actions. This deputy was associated with the Alternative for Germany political party, a group often described as nationalist, right-wing populist, and occasionally pro-Russian. Instances like these underscore the need for thoughtful consideration and open dialogue. It's crucial to remember that successful societies value diversity and aim to find common ground. Extreme ideologies from any direction can lead to negative outcomes. Let's continue to promote understanding and critical thinking, while learning from history's lessons about the importance of unity amidst differences.

I am very much looking forward to this Citizens’ Dialogue at the Residenz am Dom in Cologne. The generation of our parents and grandparents laid the foundations for the European Union. Politicians like Robert Schuman, Konrad Adenauer, Jean Monnet or Alcide De Gaspari built their vision of a common Europe also on the continent’s heritage rooted partly in Christian values. President Biden is a Giant On June 28, 2022 at the White House, President Biden knelt on one knee as a show of respect in front of Rivka Ravitz, Chief of Staff of Israeli President Rivlin, when he heard she had 12 children. America respects Jewish/Israeli values. The world is right to equate Judaism and Israel. Anti-Israel sentiment is the same as anti-Jewish sentiment. And America shares the Jewish/Israeli value system. To be anti-Israel is to be anti-American. American and Israeli/Jewish values are based on justice, equality, and righteousness. The American Declaration of Independence and the Constitution, champion liberty and equality, based on Devarim 16:19 which states: "Justice, justice shall you pursue." Torah and American values share the concept of fairness, compassion, and the protection of the vulnerable. The Torah's imperative to "love your neighbor" and to "care for the widow, the orphan, and the stranger among you," is shared by American law which ensures equal protection under the law for all citizens. Israel and world Jewry share President Biden’s concern for the citizens of Rafah; Israel has met those concerns, while simultaneously standing for another great American legal principle, called self-defense. Hamas has vowed that they will repeat the massacre of October 7 again and again. Every citizen of the free world recognizes and supports Israel’s right to defend itself and its citizens as the Talmud 72a states: If someone comes planning to kill you, you should hurry to kill him first. It is a matter of American and Jewish/Israeli justice that Hamas be removed from Gaza. It is ironic that paid Palestinian agitators have organized campus demonstrations which run contrary to the very American values that these universities stand for, on the lawns of these campuses: Princeton University’s motto is "Dei sub numine viget," Latin for "Under God's power she flourishes." Belief in God is the first of the Ten Commandments. Yale University, has a coat of arms that features the Hebrew phrase "אורים ותמים" (Urim v'Tummim), which is from the Torah and is associated with the breastplate worn by the High Priest in ancient Israel. Harvard's motto is "Veritas," Latin for "truth." Truth is God’s Signature, and is enshrined as the 9th of the Ten Commandments. Columbia's motto is "In lumine Tuo videbimus lumen," Latin for "In Thy light shall we see light," found in Psalms 36:9: "For with Thee is the fountain of life; in Thy light shall we see light." That is why all Americans stand behind the American justice system, and demand that those arrested for trespass and illegal behavior be prosecuted to the full extent of the law, to defend the principles of American justice. There must be no leniency in light of “political considerations.” Justice of this land must be upheld if the rule of law is to be preserved and maintained. President Biden’s kneeling before the moral values of a Jewish Israeli mother, guarantees it.

It was presented as fighting hate speech and misinformation. The problem is: When news is announced it is not possible to judge if it's right or wrong. It leads to biased censorship and with the #digitalservicesact the framework for it is already prepared. Biased censorship is one of the main characteristics of all totalitarian states. We explore economic and social turmoil in Weimar Germany that laid the groundwork for Hitler's ascent, drawing poignant comparisons to the fragility of today’s democratic system in the United States, and reveal the strategic maneuvers the Nazis employed to position themselves as the true representatives of Germany, transcending traditional political labels and focusing on national unity and modernization. We discuss the cultural anxieties exacerbated by rapid modernization and urbanization, and how Hitler's propaganda machine capitalized on these fears to foster a return to traditional values, further deepening societal and political divides. And, we explore the unique political skills and empathetic understanding Hitler used to galvanize support, setting a dangerous precedent for charismatic leadership in times of crisis.
