My team is more important than any customer... Including our largest, most profitable customers. Now this may be backwards and controversial... But hear me out. We want to deliver the very best customer experience possible in the telecommunications industry. Meaning we need to do things differently... Have you ever spoken with a customer service rep and you get the sense they would rather be anywhere but answering your call? That company doesn't prioritize their employees. If you want different results, you have to do things differently... We treat our employees like the priority. Because if they don't feel heard, respected and honoured... How can we expect them to give that level of service to our customers? As a rule, we do not allow our customers to be rude or disrespect our team. It's a simple philosophy that ensures our team is happy, and productive. On the rare occasion this happens (99.9% of our customers are incredible human beings...) We will actually give them a warning. If continued, they will no longer be our customer. I guarantee if your employee is treated poorly, and in return, you stand up for them and say goodbye to that customer... That employee will be more loyal, show more respect, and deliver beyond for all your other customers.
