If you’re experiencing this situation as a parent or a loved one close by, here are some words I wish someone told me when my son received his diagnosis: 💙You’re a good parent. 💙It’s ok to feel (sad, scared, angry, afraid, confused, overwhelmed). 💙This isn’t your fault. 💙I’m here if you want to talk about it. 💙What was a good thing that happened today? 💙Can I support you in a way that better fits your needs right now? The truth is that everyone’s situation with health concerns is different and very individualized. And there are always a lot of feelings that go along with the journey!
