Your business is measured through financial targets, goals and initiatives. It is however your people the ones that will develop these tactics that will facilitate your sucess. And, when it comes about how you integrate your staff, we have too much to do to make our workplaces more diverse, equal and inclusive to everyone, everywhere. And your people are very aware of where you sit in landscape. I've been at Jellyfish for over 10 years now, and I've always been conscious we have been at the forefront on this space. BUT, inside me, I know it isn't enough. We still have disparities, and many things we continously miss (or are bias), so we clearly need to do more. And, why not, share it with the world. I am proud to share our first DEI report, led by our estimated colleagues Chris Mariel and Luisa Monteiro Furlan. It's a testament to our commitment to transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement. You can access it here👇. https://lnkd.in/eGWiW8Xn #dei #diversity #equity #inclusion

According to the article, Anheuser-Busch experienced a 26% decline in sales (versus 5% overall decline in industry sales) potentially due to a right-wing boycott due to its marketing efforts to the LGBTQ+ community. Part of me wonders if they had considered this risk when they decided to do the marketing campaign, and if they had done the scenario analysis to determine the potential impact to revenues. With increasing activist activity both on the far right and far left, organizations need to do better enterprise risk management and scenario planning when conducting activities that may be considered objectionable by either side. #transformfinance

A dynamic Event Project Manager & Emcee with a solid grounding in logistics, a passion for storytelling & creating engaging content & a commitment to deliver valuable experiences for all with authenticity & warmth.
Yay for sober inclusion! 😃 I wrote about my recent experience at an event where I was catered for and felt included as a sober person in the alcohol-free drinks on offer. It made a refreshing change and kudos to Clifford Chance, for serving a decent selection of tasty, adult beverages🍹 Check out my new Substack article here on the many reasons why hospitality and events need to make more effort on this issue: https://lnkd.in/djBWk7RX

Josephine is a trained entrepreneur promoting clean cooking in Kenya. She recently made the news on her incredible mission to sell these cookstoves, improving the lives of people all over Kenya. We've trained over 300 entrepreneurs like Josephine to sell over 200,000 improved cookstoves: https://lnkd.in/ecuV_Fx7 Open fires and traditional stoves, used by nearly four out of five people in Africa, have dire consequences for health, the climate, and gender equality. Clean cooking can be transformational, but despite previous commitments to achieve universal access by 2030, the world is falling short of reaching everyone. Practical Action aims to provide access to clean cooking solutions for 10 million people by 2030: https://lnkd.in/e9jxASBE. Practical Action in Kenya #CleanCooking #SDG7

It is beyond frustrating that an article about #DEI does not include a single reference to #disability #autism #neurodiversity or even #intersectionality. It’s made worse to follow up with multiple examples of organizations that do the same... #InclusionForAll not exclusion of “some” #DisabilityRights #NeurodiversityatWork #AutismatWork #InclusiveWorkplace
DEI is getting a new name. Can it dump the political baggage?
