I shared my views on Artificial Intelligence - a reality check. How Education can integrate Artificial Intelligence and Emotional Intelligence. The goal of Education is overall growth. Overall growth progresses along the 5 pillars of growth - Nurturing Self, Family, Community, Society, and Nature. Artificial Intelligence as the name suggests is artificial, it's derived from human intelligence. It has its pros and cons. It can help humanity but it's not a substitute for human intelligence. Emotions and relations can bring out the innate humanness and sense of belongingness. Mother's touch, Father's hug, laughing and playing with friends, an appreciative compliment from teacher.....this is the real world. The new generation see the world through the lens of technology. The responsibility of Parents and Educators lie in clearly defining the line between Virtual and Real world. Children should be encouraged to spend more time in the real world along with the virtual world. This beautiful journey was full of challenges, but every setback was a step towards success: - My doctoral studies lasted 5 years instead of the planned 4, due to the unforeseen challenges of the pandemic and laboratory renovations. - For 1.5 years I have not managed to obtain a single final compound. - Out of the planned five series of potential ligands, I managed to obtain only three. - Among over 500 conducted reactions, only 60 led to the desired compounds. Of these 60 compounds, an impressive 46 proved to be biologically active, and 8 of them will undergo further in vitro studies to assess their biological properties in an in-vitro model of ischemia. This is the beauty of science - its unpredictability makes it truly fascinating. In my doctoral journey, I wouldn't change a thing. Every unsuccessful reaction and missed opportunity taught me humility and patience, while successful biological tests on my compounds added strength and motivation. Thank you Jagiellonian University for these 5 years! 🙌

Morning Everyone! I just wanted to say thank you to those who have responded to me directly in private messages in relation to my previous post concerning what has now become Quantum Works TNT! I understand a persons deepest thoughts are also their most private of thoughts that ever can be, everyone, for you's, I wish to assure that for your private thoughts and private insights are among my private thoughts and insights! Speaking of private thoughts and insights and their pertaining to my quantum ongoing private (SR&ED) research / project development, has started to harden here with tentacles tracing off into many things such as energy in all its states from generative to production, storage and transfer not in any particular order being a main thick branching out, also a tentacle of compression of everything and I have compression here now after only a very few days at it and where you have compression you also have work, heat, energy, for certainly propulsion. Additionally something somewhat very new I don't know exactly what it is and I don't know at all what to even call it but I know it's important I've just a feel of it, it is coming together of many things multi axis. My second round of things in 2009 concerning the old larger physics took shape when it also reached multi axis thought levels. The thing that's very different now with things and all things physics no matter what realm of physics is that back in 1995 thought things were pretty cool and slick for having computer processing and storage, in 2009 thought things even cooler and slicker for having more advanced software capacities and increased coding and programming capabilities. This dawning morning here this morning with this now gone quantum and things emerging on as fast a rate as they are here, like the squeezing of pimples using (SR&ED) as a gentle squeezing vice over what is yet only days of work not even weeks, months or years which Scientific Research and Experimental Development (SR&ED) is to natural phenomenons using theoretical physics the work holding piece, nature and Natural Reality the work piece. So extremely different, massively now important this morning and should also be to anyone still sleeping yet not in the west and terrible to comprehend its level of difficult importance is, I have artificial intelligence here in my fingertips now. When it comes to leveling I have years of study and serious work experience when it comes to leveling of things both small, like theodolites and big such as entire giant industrial paper mill industrial complexes. Here I see artificial intelligence the new theodolite leveling instrumentation of global playing fields when it comes to everything that happens tomorrow. Results equal level theodolites! As we move into 2024 and beyond, we need to prepare students, especially students of color, in the emerging technologies like AI, ML, VR/AR, Robotics, Data Engineering and Content Creation and other STEM / STEAM fields that will be most effected by them. Like Healthcare, Art and eSports / Game Design. The world of work & technology are changing at light speed. It's time that schools do the same. That is the mission of the 'Hidden Potential Project' - To unearth the hidden potential that lies in the underserved, undereducated, underpowered, under-resourced, underestimated, and overlooked. It truly is about stepping up and stepping in, where needed, and these professionals did today for us. We look forward to working with them again and others that have the passion and purpose to help educate those that need the help the most. We believe it will take more than a great STEM education for young people to discover their 'Greatness'. It' going to take 'Chararter' to use it. Real Talk.

Today, I'm excited to share with you all a new chapter in my life that echoes the belief: It's never too late to pursue a lifelong dream. Recently, I took a significant step towards fulfilling a dream I’ve had for years – I've started studying law. A few years ago, I was presented with a choice that felt monumental: to accept an offer to law school or to continue dedicating my energy to Sparkychics, a project close to my heart that aims to redefine the role of women in the electrical industry. Back then, I believed it was an either-or situation. I chose to focus on Sparkychics, pouring my passion and efforts into building a space where women could thrive in a male-dominated field. Fast forward to today, and my perspective has evolved. I've realized that my passions for law and for championing gender diversity in the electrical trade aren't mutually exclusive. They are, in fact, symbiotic. This realization has led me to embrace the challenge of studying law while continuing my work with Sparkychics. This doesn't mean I'm stepping away from the electrical industry or from Sparkychics. On the contrary, my journey into law is poised to bring about transformative changes to how we operate and significantly amplify our impact on women in the industry. I'm excited about the possibilities this new knowledge will unlock, enabling us to navigate challenges more effectively and advocate for change on a deeper level. So, as I embark on this academic journey, I look forward to sharing insights, learnings, and how this synergistic path will influence our collective mission at Sparkychics. Here's to embracing new beginnings, chasing dreams, and the belief that our passions can coexist and enrich each other. David Fairbairn-Day thank you for this insightful session. I truly enjoyed listening to your perspectives as it gave me the chance to revisit what Jessica Albrent, EdD taught us during one of our core courses named School Effectiveness and Development. There's a burning question that why teachers are afraid of implementing tech into their classrooms. My answer to them is why you are not providing them enough agency, so they can make contextualized, data driven decisions. The decisions that are not only customised to their locality, but also address those students' needs. Why do we not get to listen to our teachers voices? We need to understand that they are not afraid of implementing technology rather bound by classroom press and power dynamics. Give them agency, sufficient time, confidence, a little ease and see how they bring the change we so want to see. It was interesting when David mentioned a book "EdTech to Pedtech" by Dr Fiona Aubrey-Smith and Peter Twining while sharing how we as policymakers, researchers and leaders need to put pedagogy at centre because effective learning is our ultimate goal. We should not use technology as an excuse to label our teachers good or bad since its only task is to assist our teachers, not to label them.

I don't do creator mode on LI since I feel that would detract from my core audience. I will continue (to attempt) to make Cannabis genetics research accessible to anyone with an interest or curiosity - with occasional diversions into other science, bioengineering/gene editing and cannabis/hemp industry topics. Story on the AI image: Generative image AI is not great with text and very unfortunately often represents and even enhances biases. I initially asked for a prompt with cannabis science. Unsurprisingly it came back with white men scientists (image in comments). So I asked it to include women scientists (posted image). It of course gave all white women that look like models with their hair down. So I asked it to increase diversity. It came back with "foolowers" (image in comments). I didn't want to fiddle with it too much, but be aware AI is only as good as material it was trained on. That material contains prejudices and biases.
