INJURY CAUSED Mobility issues are not uncommon - and this device appears to be something that could be adapted to many workplaces IF THE EMPLOYER WISHES TO RETAIN SKILLED EMPLOYEES. I would be happy to work with a design engineer to see what various templates could be produced to move into industries quickly for such an accommodation.

Wow amazing the technology, yet so simple, has allowed him to continue to work as a chef. Kudos to his employer for equipping him si he can continue to work there. I’m impressed and excited to see tech, employer and chef to make this happen.

I love this small accommodation to let an employee shine in what they are good at. I would also like to see employers be more flexible in providing small accommodations for less visible disabilities like autism. Everyone has their own quirks, weaknesses, and talents and we should empower one another to excel.

This is AMAZING! I broke both my ankles in a freak accident in January, I'm still recovering, and I've had to use a variety of mobility-assisting devices. Being physically disabled, no matter the length of time, puts EVERYTHING in perspective.

I totally loved this wonderful man's passion towards his work even though he's passing through a difficult period of time, a humble suggestion from my end since the workplace is likely possible for chances of fire hazard I request the authorities in charge to have a well prepared Emergency Response Plan in place which includes the safe evacuation of all workforce in case of any mishaps.

Apparently People that are commenting have never owned a restaurant before.. That mechanical travesty has no place in the kitchen at all. !!!!! That is one giant lawsuit waiting to happen.. because what will happen eventually is one of those mounts / Ball joints at the top or on the seat is going to break. If the person using that contraption is carrying a 5 gallon pot of soup, or gravy, or sauce they will be severely burned as well. Everyone else within a 10 foot radius of that person. The person that will be personally liable will be the owner of that company. Insurance companies do not cover modified contraptions in the kitchen. so the owner of the restaurant will lose their restaurant, all of the money they have their entire net worth, their house, and any other assets they own !!!!! That’s not innovation that’s a lawsuit. !!!! Not to mention, whoever else might bump into that metal rod and drop hot oil or hot grease or a hot plate, or turn with a knife or a cleaver. Also regardless of what type of metal it’s made out of it will become a heat conductor, and the average temperature in the kitchen is between 100° and 140° and That metal rod will absorb all of that heat. #EpicFail #HorribleDesign #LawsuitWaitingToHappen

This is truly inspiring and a testament to the power of innovation and determination in overcoming challenges. I would enjoy learning about how this magnificent solution went from idea to fruition and what kind of collaboration took place.
