I'm sorry your internship has been cancelled, Wait wait how was your weekend? Well if given a chance to choose a day, I would choose the previous weekend, I had a chance to spend time with my family, Okay done with that, Back in college we applied for internship at various hotel, But there was this one 5 star hotel that was angry with our previous course mates, They were given a chance but they didn't deliver well, Okay, they had the skills and every requirement needed, But their attitude was 0.00% What a shock on those who had applied and hoped for the best, They were left with no option but choose other hotels, Let me clear the air, I wasn't among those who were served the shock💔 On Saturday I shared an article on ATTITUDE, This hotel was our customer we offered students (services) to them,. But the attitude was the problem, ATTITUDE IS EVERYTHING, A customer is like a magnet she attracts other customers, Of course there were some other hotels who heard the story and cancelled the internship, When the service is good, but the attitude is poor, The customer won't be satisfied, And that's how the client turns into a magnet, It's yet another new week my people, I wish you a long fruitful week ♥️ Meeting me for the first time ? Internship season is coming up! In-person internships are awesome, but finding short-term furnished housing is tough! My wife and I have spent the last few months learning a lot about this topic, so if you're looking for housing then here are some places to add to your search: Airbnb Pros: Instant Booking, lots of reviews, simple cancellation policy Cons: Can get pricey, availability is limited Furnished Finder Pros: Less expensive, fixed pricing, built for multi-month short term tenants Cons: Can't book directly through the website, some landlords aren't responsive, most units have no reviews Blueground Pros: Very high quality units, instant booking, simple cancelation policy Cons: Expensive, pricing is variable and goes up for <12 month leases There are probably many more! Some of us started as enthusiastic interns, others came from various corners of the industry, but we all found a place here where personal and professional growth, alongside meaningful work, come together in an authentic culture. Our experiences in Abu Dhabi, Slovakia, Budapest, and a few adventures through Romania were just the beginning of cultural and environmental explorations necessary for the soul and mind. Month by month, we continued to nourish our souls and minds with books and courses for personal and collective development, covering a diverse range of topics, followed by meetings and discussions on these themes from different personal perspectives. We never limited ourselves to just building, but also focused on how we do it and with whom. We have always sought to invest in initiatives that create authentic connections, grow together, and bring about the much-desired change. The events we organize are an important part of who we are, what we do, and how we contribute to everyone's growth. We are building not just a team, but a community. For us, work is passion, purpose. But Joan... how did you manage to make the decision? 🤔 💭 I think this is one of the most important questions to answer, to try to help other people in the process. If you want to move abroad, you have to make a decision. After this first step, things will happen... but if you don't go for it, it will be very difficult to achieve your goal. 💠 What do I recommend? 🔸 Set a deadline in your medium-term plans (e.g. when my internship ends, at Easter...). 🔸 Start taking decisions on a small scale (in my case, I moved abroad in January and did not renew the contract for my flat in Barcelona, which was due to end in December; the decision was taken the previous July). 🔸 Be convinced that you want to do it. As I always say, if you have that idea in your head, you have to do it. But, at the same time, if you are not 100% convinced to take the next step, don't do it, because you won't enjoy it. 🔸 Ask for help or an opinion, but do what you want and how you want. You run your own life, not anyone else. 🔹 And my last piece of advice: try it, do it, go for it. You can always go back, but you have to take the risk before you regret it! See you next week...
