We're closing out on the 2023, a record year for us. So, we did 40 transactions last year. So, it's basically one a week. The markets are indeed challenging, but if you put in the legwork, you can succeed, even in this challenging market environment. What's required is that we do reach out to investors which is maybe three to four times as many as is normally required in a normal sentiment. In terms of sentiment, we're seeing that since, November ish, last year, the sentiment is improving as successively all by from very low levels."

Today, we're proud to launch our latest Annual Update on Progress report, which showcases all of the good work and incredible impact we are having as a collective as we strengthen action and advance proactivity on palm oil derivatives. In our fourth year of operation, 2023 has seen ASD build on more proactive grievance monitoring and management, deepen engagement with supply chain players, and scale impact on the ground. This year, we grew to 31 members, which has strengthened the initiative. It has increased the number of suppliers we’re connected to, given us greater leverage in supplier engagement, reinforced exposure in new markets (e.g., Japan, US), and expanded the diversity of ASD member positions in the supply chain. And it makes us excited for what's to come in 2024 when we will explore opportunities to raise ambition on topics like human rights and climate, and biild mechanisms for action in other commodities, such as coconut and soy derivatives.
