Great conversation in today’s Nonprofit Thought Leader Summit on building organizational culture. Thank you San Diego Foundation‘s Danny Kim, Taylor Harrell from MAAC, Christiana Tasto with Nonprofit Solutions, and Tony Teravainen from Support the Enlisted Project (STEP) for sharing their insights. We are grateful for the partnership with San Diego Gas & Electric on this initiative to create an open dialogue around the challenges nonprofits face, and brainstorm on solutions to ultimately better our community.

Founder & Principal @ Orange Oak Nonprofit Management | Strategic & Operational Consultant for Nonprofits, Foundations, and Associations | Expert Convener
🚀 📣 I’m excited to announce the launch of Orange Oak Nonprofit Management. 🚀 📣 A year ago I had the opportunity to journey out and “do my own thing” through some contract work in a variety of areas/sectors. I never knew quite where it would lead or where I’d find my spark. Turns out, I can’t shake it, I’m a “nonprofit guy”. Nonprofit work is the root of my education and career. Over the years I’ve latched on to two questions to always ask: “What’s the right thing to do?” and “Does it fulfill a need?” Yes and yes. Orange Oak serves nonprofits, foundations, and associations throughout Tennessee and beyond with services including executive searches, management solutions, and governance advisory - creating stability for nonprofits during transition. A group of affiliated consulting partners has sprouted and is growing under the Orange Oak canopy. I’m so proud I’ll be able to share their vast expertise to the nonprofit community. So many in my network on LinkedIn are dedicated to their community through volunteering and board service. If you work with or for an organization going through transition that could benefit from Orange Oak services, give me a shout! Thanks to all past and current clients, colleagues, and friends ﹘ Jocelyn Harms, Matt Deeb, CFA, CFP®, Elizabeth Carroll, Falon Veit Scott, CMM, MBA, Eric Thrailkill, Nicole Provonchee, MBA, Cara Ince, Apryl Childs-Potter, Mark Richard, Megan O'Roark, Rebekah Carroll, Niketa Hailey-Hill, Mike Jobe, Ryan Brebner (so many more) - whether simple conversations or impactful work together, you’ve played a part in the journey. Here we go! #nonprofitsector #nonprofitleadership #nonprofitmanagement #nashvillenonprofits #nonprofitsintennessee #nonprofitexecutivesearch #nonprofitgovernance
We are live! Thanks to our past and current clients, partners, and colleagues who have helped to make Orange Oak Nonprofit Management a reality. Give us a follow as we'll be sharing top nonprofit updates and insights!
