⭐ Last week we had our 2nd annual kick-off event of our #HumanCenteredTechnology Community ⭐ Two days packed with so much content and inspiration. 🤩 And we used the time to engage and discuss and network. What a wonderful thing it is, when you meet a whole bunch of likeminded people who are passionate about designing human-centered technology. What is it? It's both a philosophy and a grass-roots movement at Deutsche Telekom – all about designing/developing/using technology with the human being in the center. Tech as a tool, not an end in itself. Helping us make our lives more comfortable and better. To solve our big challenges. And not doing harm towards other human-beings or our planet. Why is that important? ➡️ Tech is becoming so powerful and getting closer into our most intimate realm, and this will only increase. Tech is to powerful to mess around with it. Our attitude, ethical standards and degree of digital responsibility is paramount here! What did we do? ➡️ Impulses: 💡 I talked about our “deep story” – why we exist as a movement and why digital responsibility is so important for our future business success. 💡 Stephan de Haas gave an overview of our terrific co-creation activities with the X-Creation platform for innovation in the #ESG space. 💡 Tatjana Wittig talked about how practical human-centered #AI is the mission of our #ArtificialIntelligence Competence Center (AICC) Guide team. As a company we are on a good path - but it's not a sprint, it's marathon. We need to keep going and be steady in our efforts in all 3 letters of E-S-G! ➡️ We had lots of time for actual working group collaboration: e.g. we develop a leadership learning journey, we establish an award rewarding human-centered behavior in our company, we build a cross-industry network of likeminded companies and individuals, to name just a few. And of course we had fun, fun, fun in everything – this is what you get when you invite people: They come because they have passion and skills, not because they are told to do so – that’s the power of community! Thank you so much, Claudia Nemat for your support in all this! And thanks so much everybody for your precious contributions. We have great plans for 2024. With the rise in popularity of Artificial Intelligence, it became accessible to a wider audience very quickly. However, a closer analysis reveals that innovation is impacted by a number of hidden variables, such as research talent, entrepreneurial culture, high-tech exports, and institutional environments.
