Nefab Attends ISTA Forum in San Diego Last week, the ISTA - International Safe Transit Association Forum was held in San Diego and a team of our engineers was there to explore the challenges, trends and best practices in the evolving world of transport packaging. Beyond providing vast networking opportunities, the event hosted engaging offerings like a Packaging Dynamics Professional (PDP) certification program, offering insights into the many facets of packaging distribution, testing and procedures. Themes that emerged during the event were the critical role supply chain mapping plays in packaging design and testing, sustainability as a driving force for the industry’s future, Regulations and Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) influencing material selection and design choices, and the growing prevalence of AI and machine learning. Staying at the forefront of the packaging world is a priority for us, and we are grateful to be able to participate in the information exchange at events that help drive the industry forward to a more sustainable tomorrow.
