DID YOU KNOW?... In December 2023, the California State Water Resources Control Board approved regulations for converting wastewater to high quality drinking water marking the most advanced standards in the nation. Earlier in the year, the State Water Board released their “Alternative Treatment Technology Report for Recycled Water” outlining APT’s HiPOx advanced AOP technology as the only currently approved ozone-based water treatment solution meeting the most advanced criteria in Title 22. This was based on successful HiPOx pilot studies conducted in California which achieved greater than 5-log reduction in seeded MS2 coliphage under defined minimum contact time conditions. Not only did HiPOx prove treatment effectiveness at various average flow rates, but it also did so with lower operating costs than alternative solutions.
