FHWA Administrator Shailen Bhatt joined Nebraska U.S. Senator Deb Fischer, Nebraska Department of Transportation Director Vicki Kramer, City of Omaha Mayor Jean Stothert, TxDOT Executive Director Marc Williams and other officials at the WESTERN ASSOCIATION OF STATE HIGHWAY TRANSPORTATION OFFICIALS Conference (WASHTO) to talk about the FHWA and U.S. DOT’s priorities for a safe, sustainable transportation network that will meet the needs of all road users. The theme of WASHTO 2024 was “infrastructure for a rapidly changing world,” which made it the perfect opportunity for Administrator Bhatt to discuss infrastructure resilience, roadway safety, and the future of transportation. #BipartisanInfrastructureLaw #InvestingInAmerica
Many thanks to Nebraska Department of Transportation and AASHTO (American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials) for hosting a wonderful WASHTO.
