FHWA Administrator Shailen Bhatt was in Salt Lake City to award $20M Saving Lives with Connectivity grant to UDOT for the Connect the West project that deploys vehicle-to-everything (V2X) technology including sensors and wireless connectivity in three states: Utah, Wyoming, and Colorado. The project will help modernize the transportation system and make traveling safer for everyone.
