I help your business or not-for-profit get clarity💡, get direction 🧭, get noticed 📣 and create impact 🚀
After becoming a Belong online member, I’m now a Connector with Collective Intelligence to help share the model with people who could benefit from it. I still do my impact and strategy consultancy work, but am a big advocate for this model and so am here to advocate for it! I became a member because I was facing unexpected and disruptive change (a story I’ll share one day) that forced me to ask the really important questions about what I stand for, what impact I wanted to have, and how to do that with balance so to avoid burnout. I wanted to be inspired, supported and connected to the wisdom of some truly wonderful human beings. The power of Collective Intelligence is the diversity of the team (there’s no groupthink here!) that helps uncover your blindspots, leverage your superpowers and help you discover your own path through often murky and multi-layered situations. It’s not advice, it’s active learning and reflection, with a good dose of accountability- all guided by excellent facilitators. Our members range from young entrepreneurs to seasoned CEOs of corporations, Government departments, not-for-profits and social enterprise across all sectors - everyone has wisdom and a worldview that can add value. I’m excited that people in my extended network have reached out to find out more, and with a quick chat we can work out whether Collective Intelligence might be just the development you need to navigate these confronting times! Send me a DM or check out https://lnkd.in/gb7dDHvK
Our members often say that they joined Collective Intelligence because they were looking for a community. Its not common to find a group of people who will give you their perceptions, without having an agenda. Talking to family, friends, business partners, colleagues....they all have an opinion. So if you're looking for a group of people who are impartial but who genuinely care, join one of our Belong Teams (in-person or online). Be part of our our like-hearted Ecosystem! #likehearted #community #professionaldevelopment #personalgrowth Lisa Markwick Rebekah Smith Sarah Walmsley Huw Taylor Register here to join our member portal to see all podcasts, blogs, events and more https://lnkd.in/gEHrZaRk

It starts with intention. We need to start by asking ourselves not only who we are designing for but who our designs will affect and how. Too often, a client or client representative's vision of their needs fails to consider fully their employees' needs, their customers' needs, and those of the public much less the needs of future building owners or users and future generations. Most buildings will long outlive the people who conceive their designs and construct them. As such, we should be mindful of the legacies we leave with every design.
A good question to ask ourselves at the start of 2024: How can we promote social justice through the built environment? Tune into our #podcast to hear a range of perspectives on this question, from building more intentional community partnerships to prioritizing sustainable building practices and investing in the arts. Hear from city leaders like Rico Quirindongo and many others to gain insight and inspiration in the new year and lead with #positivechange in mind.
