Pubic Symphysis dysfunction is common in pregnancy/postpartum. It occurs when the ligaments relax due to higher levels of the hormone relaxin. There is greater movement between the joints which can lead to discomfort. Tips to Help: 📌Wear sneakers or comfortable shoes. 📌Sleep with a pillow in between the legs (keeps the hips level and prevents shearing of the joints). 📌Try wearing a pregnancy belt.
