In #publicsafety , everyone is #family You spend more holidays with your co-workers than you do with your own family. Of course, you have that weird aunt or grumpy uncle but at the end of the day - regardless of race, gender, religious beliefs, sexuality, etc. Everyone loves eachother and supports eachother through those difficult calls. Coming over to the private sector, I didn’t know what to expect. #Thankful to have joined a company that welcomes #diversity and supports all employees. Verint has created a culture that embraces #inclusion while providing #opportunities and #support for everyone. #equality #employeeresourcegroup #ERG #diversity #verint #publicsector #publicsafety #community #bestplacestowork #culture #proud #together #verinteer #technology #techjobs #womenintech
Leadership means embracing inclusion year-round, not just during Pride Month. It's about creating a culture that recognizes and appreciates the diversity of our workforce throughout the year. That’s why we’re excited to introduce our newest Employee Resource Group – LGBTQ+. This group is committed to creating an inclusive, welcoming, and safe environment for all our LGBTQ+ Verinteers, helping them to grow and thrive. Join us this month and beyond as the LGBTQ+ ERG hosts engaging programs and events, shares valuable education, and drives impactful change. Together, we're building a more diverse, innovative, and better Verint. Happy #PrideMonth!

Director, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging | City Council Member | Inclusion Strategist | Board Member
At PG&E we are proud to honor and celebrate the contributions of our LGBTQ+ community. As one of the oldest LGBTQ+ employee resource groups (ERG) in the country, our Pride Network ERG has been instrumental in driving a culture of inclusion and belonging for all employees. Our commitment to diversity and inclusion extends beyond our workforce. Through our robust supplier diversity program, we actively partner with small and medium LGBTQ+ businesses, recognizing the vital role they play in the economy. Did you know that LGBTQ+ businesses contribute an estimated $1.7 trillion to the U.S. economy annually? Additionally, studies have shown that companies with inclusive policies are 1.7 times more likely to be innovation leaders in their market. We believe that inclusion and belonging fuels innovation and creativity. By embracing the unique perspectives and experiences of our LGBTQ+ employees and partners, we continue to drive forward-thinking solutions and sustainable growth. This Pride Month, let’s celebrate the progress we’ve made and reaffirm our commitment to fostering a workplace, marketplace and world where everyone feels free to be their authentic selves. Join us in celebrating Pride Month and the invaluable contributions of our LGBTQ+ community. Together, we are stronger. #PrideMonth #LoveandPride #DEIB #SupplierDiversity #PowerofWe

Recognition matters because representation matters! Full disclosure: I worked on this program for nearly two years. I understand its integrity and know from experience that winners often go on to do even more amazing things (I.e., inclusive leaders pay it forward!). Out & Equal’s Outie Awards recognize inclusive leaders and strategic initiatives that are making positive changes in their workplaces (and beyond!) for LGBTQIA+ talent, and others! There are so many champions out there doing great work! Often quietly and without much support. Apply and help recognize these champions, while amplifying their efforts as role models for others to follow! #recognitionmatters #representationmatters #inclusiveleadership

There’s a misconception that allyship is primarily about supporting a specific subset of individuals, such as LGBTQ+ people. Here’s what’s true: inclusion is for everyone. Logan Chapman, an Onboarding & Enablement Coordinator, at Spring Health, and part of our OutSpring ERG 🏳️🌈, shares his insights as a team member and how leaders can become allies to LGBTQ+ employees and create a #workplace environment where everyone feels like they belong. The article also features insights from two other OutSpring ERG members, Lucas Barrino and Ritchelle G., on what allyship means to them both within the walls of the workplace, but beyond that. It always feels good to work for an organization where everyone feels included. Learn how you can become an ally to LGBTQ+ team members by cultivating a workplace environment where everyone feels like they belong.
