School of Design Thinking (SoDT) takes immense pride to share that we hosted 250+ accomplished Academic Leaders from 18 different States in the country as part of our 1st National Conclave on Design Thinking for Academic Leaders. The event was held on 27th March 2024 at Intellect Design Arena Ltd, Chennai. • Our Esteemed Chief Guest, Prof. (Dr.) Sitharam T.G, Chairman - AICTE, emphasized the importance of future-oriented skill education in India. • Mr. Arun Jain, CMD of Intellect Design Arena Ltd & Founder School of Design Thinking, anchored a Masterclass on leveraging Design Thinking for 10x growth of Academic Institutions • In the presence of Prof. (Dr.) T G Sitaram, Chairman of AICTE, Mr. Arun Jain along with Dr. Anbu Rathinavel - Head & Co-Founder, School of Design Thinking and Chief Design Officer, Intellect, launched 'Academia Nxt', a partnership program that equips institutions with an avenue to create a culture of Design Thinking in the campus through various contextual and composable initiatives. • A fireside chat with Dr. Anbu Rathinavel moderated by Mr. Udaya Sankar, National Lead - SSC nasscom, brought out the details on 'Academia Nxt'. Industry and Academic experts came together for a panel discussion on the topic 'Skill Economy - A Holistic Design to go Beyond a Degree' Top institutions were recognized with the first-ever Design Thinking Impact Awards. These included: • SRM IST Chennai - Campus Ecosystem Design for Innovation Award • Noida Institute of Engineering & Technology - Future Skills Framework Design Award • StartupTN - Futuristic Policy & Governance Design Award • Sairam Institutions - Holistic Entrepreneurship & Innovation Design Award • Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta - Social Outreach Curriculum Design Award Here are some special moments from the event...
